  • Kit Includes: 4 stainless steel cables with black sleeves, 2 tension springs, 2 mounting brackets, screws and self-tapping screws
  • Material: Stainless steel cables, metal brackets, high-carbon steel springs
  • Effect: Simulates the hood latch mechanism with slight tension from the springs

Installation

  • Mount the brackets on both sides of the hood using screws
  • Attach one end of the cable to the bracket and the other to the body/A-pillar
  • Adjust the cable length and spring tension to simulate the hood tightening effect
  • Secure all screws and ensure no interference with the hood opening/closing

How to Properly Soak Water Gel Beads

  • Prepare a container and add plenty of clean water to fully submerge the water gel beads.
  • Soak them for 4–6 hours until the beads expand, soften and become fully plump.
  • Keep the beads completely under water during the whole process; otherwise, they will not be fully soaked and may easily cause jamming.
  • If the soaking time is insufficient or there is not enough water, some water gel beads will not absorb enough water, which may cause poor firing or jamming.
